    What a Day Looks Like

    • Translate blueprints and technical drawings into accurate setups and weld sequences.
    • Measure, cut, fit, and prep metals using hand tools, plasma cutters, and metal cutting equipment.
    • Execute MIG, TIG, Stick, and arc processes — with a strong emphasis on aluminum TIG — to join components to spec.
    • Configure and operate welding equipment safely; perform basic maintenance to keep gear production-ready.
    • Inspect and test weld integrity to meet design, safety, and structural requirements.
    • Select techniques using your understanding of metallurgy and material behavior.
    • Champion OSHA-compliant practices and maintain an orderly, safe work area.
    • Coordinate with electricians, general labor, and engineering to move projects forward.

    Reporting Line

    Reports to: Operations Manager

    What You Bring

    • Certifications: Credentials from organizations such as the American Welding Society (AWS); AWS Certified Welder (CW) preferred.
    • Experience: Hands-on welding from prior roles or apprenticeships; high proficiency in aluminum TIG required.
    • Technical: Multi-process welding capability, blueprint literacy, and metal fabrication skills.
    • Safety: Strong PPE and safety protocol knowledge.
    • Traits: Detail-focused, steady-handed, patient, and adaptable to changing priorities.

    Experience & Education

    • At least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or assembly.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
