Welder

  • ·         As a welder, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of both the metal and aluminum components of our carts, ensuring the structural integrity and quality of all completed work.
  •       Perform various types of welding processes according to project requirements.
  •       Ability to weld component parts in various directions: flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead, etc.
  •       Interpret and follow drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to execute precise welds.
  • ·         Responsible for the clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting, or grinding of spare parts as necessary to satisfy the technical requirements and create a welded final product.
  • ·         Will be required to follow set up and the proper operations of welding equipment necessary to join, fabricate and repair aluminum parts and structures
  • ·         Required to meet project expectations by testing and inspecting aluminum surfaces and structures for flaws, product defects or incompletion
  • ·         Work closely with other team members, across departments, to achieve production goals.
  • ·         Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address challenges regarding project status and/or completion
  • ·         Strive to meet or exceed daily production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • ·         Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in welding operations.
  • ·         Maintain accurate records of completed work, including the types of welding performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
  • ·         Responsible for maintaining welding equipment and repairs on an as needed basis

 

Qualifications:

  • ·         High school diploma or equivalent.
  • ·         1-2 years' experience as a Welder in aluminum manufacturing or relevant certification.
  • ·         Proficiency in reading blueprints and product drawings.
  • ·         Mastery of aluminum and steel welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) and techniques.
  • ·         Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality work.
  • ·         Physical stamina for prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
  • ·         Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
  • ·         Commitment to safety, including adherence to protocols and OSHA regulations.
  • ·         Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes.
  • ·         Maintenance of equipment and tools.
  • ·         Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
  • ·         Knowledge of basic hand tools and hardware.
  • ·         Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and make quick decisions.
  • ·         Understanding quality control processes and dedication to producing high-quality products.
