Alpine Valley - Venue Guest Services Staff

Job Summary:

As a Guest Services staff member, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests. You are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the venue while engaging with attendees to address their needs before, during, and after the event. Your attention to detail and customer service skills contribute to creating a positive experience for all patrons.

Job Functions:

vDeliver exemplary customer service to maintain customer loyalty. Answer inquiries to resolve our customer concerns through analysis to determine the most effective resolution.

vAdapt to customer needs ensuring that they are understood, and appropriate action is taken to meet and exceed their expectations.

vRefer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.

vSolicit sales of new or additional services or products.

vKeep records of customer interactions or transaction, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as action taken.

v Participate in venue recycling efforts before, during and after the show.

vGuide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency.

vMay assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.

vAssist patrons by giving directions places inside or outside the venue.

vEnsure guests are safely enjoying the show.

vPartner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.

vAdditional tasks as requested by management.

This position starts at $16.00 per hour

Qualifications:

vHigh School Diploma or equivalent

vAt least 2 years in Customer Service and communications suggested

vStrong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills

vExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

vAcute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy

vA strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.

vPosition requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting.
