ALM Profitability Analyst
Dover, Delaware

A well-established financial institution is looking for an ALM Profitability Analyst to support asset/liability management, funds transfer pricing, and profitability reporting. This role sits at the intersection of finance and data and is a good fit for someone who enjoys translating numbers into insights that inform real business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance ALM models, including interest rate risk analysis and liquidity reporting
  • Support funds transfer pricing (FTP) methodology and ensure accurate allocation across business lines
  • Prepare and present profitability analyses at the product, member, and business unit level
  • Assist in the development of financial forecasts and stress testing scenarios
  • Monitor balance sheet trends and communicate findings to finance leadership
  • Partner with accounting, lending, and deposit teams to gather data and validate assumptions
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements related to interest rate risk and liquidity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Experience in ALM, FTP, or financial analysis within a financial institution preferred
  • Familiarity with ALM software (e.g., QRM, Empyrean, or similar) a plus
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools a plus
  • Solid understanding of balance sheet mechanics and interest rate risk concepts
  • Clear, concise communicator who can present complex data to non-technical audiences
