The Special Education Program Coordinator will: • Assists in fostering increased student learning by improving the overall coordination and implementation of the District's related services and individualized education programs for special education students. • Assists the Director of Student Services to establish and maintain consistent procedures, Pre K - 22, to meet ELPS Board Policy, Superintendent's directives, and the requirements of Connecticut Statutes and Connecticut State Department of Education regulations. • Chairs/facilitates appropriate Pre K - 22 PPT and 504 meetings. • Provides support in the development, writing and implementation of IEP's and 504 plans.
