LEARN Southeastern Connecticuts Regional Educational Service Center invites compassionate and skilled candidates to apply for an anticipated Registered Nurse RN opening at the Ocean Avenue LEARNing Academy in New London Connecticut. Day to Day

  • Provide daily medical care and monitoring for students with chronic health conditions disabilities or complex medical needs.
  • Administer medications tube feedings and treatments according to individualized health care plans (IHCPs).
  • Respond to health emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Develop implement and update IHCPs in collaboration with physicians families and school staff.
  • Train and support staff on health-related procedures and emergency responses.
  • Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and district regulations.
  • Communicate regularly with families healthcare providers and school teams regarding student health needs.

Qualifications

  • Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Experience working with children and/or individuals with special healthcare needs preferred.
  • Strong assessment critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • CPR certification required (training provided if needed).

Salary Range: $41,898 to $82,165 annually.
