All work completed on iPads some minimal technology skills neededAnalysis and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems including Ground-Faults Shorts Wire Integrity Termination Panel Fuses Battery Testing and much moreProgram dialers for monitoring. Phone line traditional and cell phone monitoring skills neededComplete basic repairs and installations including moves adds relocates for all types of systems and devicesComplete final reports deficiency reports and possible bids via a computer andor tabletInteract with clients field personnel and fire marshalsAnalysis of blueprintsCoordination with other disciplines engineers general contractors and end usersDaily communications with Project Manager andor Schedule Coordinator on inspection or project delays requirements and general status of jobsResponsible for training apprentices on Company procedures systems inspection and installation techniquesAll work is performed to NFPA and Company standards with quality inspection and installation techniques practicedWorks with Project Manager Schedule Coordinator and Office Administrative Staff to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client Ensure that work is completed so it can be billed in fullJob QualificationsKnowledge of NFPA codes is requiredNICET I Certification within 1 year of employmentNICET II Certification within 1 year after NICET I is achievedNevada Fire Alarm License requiredHigh School Diploma GED requiredFire Alarm Service Experience requiredManufactures certifications are preferred but not required EST Gamewell FCI Notifier Honeywell Simplex SiemensField installation experience is a plusSolid knowledge of NFPA 72 Factory Mutual and applicable codes is preferredPossess an understanding of expenses and schedulingOSHA 30 is a plusAbility to pass a post-offer drug test background and reference checkPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodationRegular bending reaching climbing and walkingAll qualified applicants with Western States Fire Protection Company will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex sexual orientation and gender identity national origin or status as a qualified individual with a disability or protected veteran.VEVRAA Federal ContractorAccessibility If you need help accessing this page please contact Phone 1-877-252-2168Email
