Are you a skilled automotive technician looking for something beyond the traditional shop? Long-Lewis of Alabaster is hiring Mobile Service Technicians to join our growing team — a unique opportunity to bring top-quality service directly to our customers at their homes or workplaces.
This full-time role offers competitive flat rate pay of $20–$45 per hour, a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments over time, and the opportunity to take your career on the road while working within a supportive, high-performing team environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Travel to customer locations (homes/worksites) in a fully equipped company vehicle
- Diagnose and perform on-site repairs or maintenance services
- Advise customers on next steps for more complex issues, if needed
- Work on a wide range of makes and models
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer satisfaction
- Represent the Long-Lewis brand with pride and excellence
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ year of experience in dealership or high-volume repair facilities
- Strong knowledge of various makes and models with solid diagnostic ability
- ASE Certification preferred
- Ford and/or Lincoln FSA Certifications are a plus
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary automotive training is a plus
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and communicate effectively
- Professional appearance, customer-first mindset, and a strong work ethic
- Physical stamina to meet the demands of an on-site, hands-on role
Compensation:
- $20–$45 per hour (Flat Rate), based on experience and certifications
- $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid in scheduled installments over time
