Airspace Specialist / Program Analyst

Leidos is seeking an Airspace Specialist / Program Analyst to join the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team.

This is a telework position.

Must be located in the Eastern part of the US.

Primary Role & Receptibilities:

• Serve as an operational liaison and analyst supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Navigation Aids (NAVAID) programs.
• Oversee decommissioning initiatives, coordinates facility modifications, and aligns airspace/procedure strategies across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Coordinate and support navigation facility and modernization programs from planning through implementation and close-out.
• Manage facility discontinuance and decommissioning activities, aeronautical data and instrument flight procedure changes, decommissioning requests, and non-rulemaking packages.
• Support FAA modernization efforts by tracking project status, schedules, equipment deliveries, re-baselining and close-out activities, and technical training requirements.
• Serve as a central point of coordination among Flight Procedures Teams, planning and requirements groups, engineering, program managers, Technical Operations, federal partners, and airport authorities.
• Coordinate flight inspection requirements and schedules using FAA database and facilitate inter-organizational activities needed to advance projects and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate program and project information in applicable tracking systems and databases.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, prepare productivity and production reports, and review required Safety Risk Management System documentation.
• Ensure program records, reports, approvals, and supporting documentation are complete, current, and available to support management decisions, oversight, and successful project delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree & 4 or more years of relevant experience
• Ability to extract data from multiple sources
• Analytical, communication, and presentations skills
• Highly organized with strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work with distributed teams and cross functional partners
• Strong background in the entire Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, solution-focused mindset

Preferred requirements:

• Program & Project Management: Planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, risk/issue management, change control, re-baselining, and project close-out
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Stakeholder management and communication across various stakeholders
• Data, Reporting & Systems Management: Maintaining project databases, records, schedules, dashboards, productivity reports, and management documentation with strong data accuracy and quality control
• Safety & Technical Documentation: Familiarity with Safety Risk Management, technical documentation, regulatory/non-rulemaking processes, and translating technical information into actionable project requirements
• Ability to develop and maintain Power BI dashboards

Pay Range:

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
