    Should the above criteria not be fulfilled, the following options are acceptable:

    • Nine (9) years of work experience in airport operations, regulatory compliance, aviation security or a directly related field
    • Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree in Safety Management, Aviation Management, Business or Public Administration, or a directly related field, PLUS seven (7) years of work experience in airport operations, regulatory compliance, aviation security or a directly related field
    • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Safety Management, Aviation Management, Public Administration, or a directly related field, PLUS four (4) years of work experience in airport operations, regulatory compliance, aviation security or a directly related field

    PLUS

    • A valid State of Illinois Driver's License is required
    • Must obtain Basic Airfield Driver (YELLOW) Certification within 90 days of hire

    Desired Skillset:

    • Background in 49CFR1540, 49CFR1542, and 49CFR1520
    • Background in compliance and performance audits
    • Background in construction engineering
    • Background in cargo operations

    The candidate selected for hire must pass an airport background check and a Security Threat Assessment (STA).

    This position requires applicants to complete an interview which will include a written exercise and/or a skills assessment test as part of the interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral and written parts of the interview will be selected.
