Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm | Pay: $44–$48 per hour + bonus potential

Your impact
Own the reliability of airport lighting, power distribution, and control systems. Install new infrastructure, modernize aging equipment, and respond rapidly to restore service when issues occur—all while meeting code, safety, and documentation standards.
Key responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and safety regulations
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components; identify causes and implement fixes
- Inspect systems to recognize hazards and determine repairs, adjustments, or replacements
- Plan layout and installation of wiring, equipment, and fixtures per specs and local codes
- Train and direct workers on install, maintenance, and repair tasks
- Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
- Conduct routine maintenance to maximize uptime
- Strictly follow safety policies and wear required PPE
- Coordinate with airport departments on projects and repair activities
- Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and periodic checks
- Use construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and test instruments
- Respond to emergency electrical calls
- Partner with project managers on large-scale electrical projects
- Document work performed and materials used with detail and accuracy
- Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license
- Journeyman experience with industrial or commercial electrical systems
- Solid grasp of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices
- Proficient reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- English fluency (read, write, speak)
- Ability to access/interpret information in print and electronically; adept with iPads/Tablets, computers, and mobile devices
- Clear, professional communication in-person and via digital channels
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to secure credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a 24/7 airline environment

- Crawling and crouching in confined spaces
- Bending, stretching, squatting, and kneeling
- Climbing and working at heights
- Work amid moderate to high noise
- Hear/respond to spoken voice and alarms
- Repetitive motions of arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
