Airport Assistant Lead CSA

General Summary: Assists in supervising and administering activities associated with servicing passengers and baggage, ramp activities, training personnel, servicing and fueling aircraft and executing emergency procedures within the guidelines of supervisory instructions, federal and state laws and regulations, and airport policies and procedures. Reports to the Customer Service Agent (CSA) Lead or other designated person and works with co-workers, emergency response personnel, and crews to provide operational support. Performs duties as Customer Service Agent (CSA) Lead in his/her absence. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Administer and assist with all customer service functions including taking fuel orders, taking and recording cash for services and products sold, ticketing, baggage handling, cargo operations, passenger security and reservations in a manner to ensure compliance with airport and airline service standards.
• Administer and assist with ramp activities required for aircraft servicing, including fueling, loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, mail and ramp handling to ensure airport and airline operations, safety and security objectives are met.
• Assist with training and developing staff. Administer and assist with marshalling of aircraft, towing aircraft in and out of parking areas and hangars, coordinating aircraft fuel requirements and load instructions with aircraft captain/crew.
• Ensure compliance with airport and airline policies and procedures and federal, state and local laws and regulations.
• Service and clean aircraft as needed (aircraft lavatories, potable water, seat backs, tray tables, galley, window washing, deicing, replenishing supplies, etc).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES MIGHT INCLUDE:

• Assists with supervising and administering all services provided by Aviation Services personnel for commercial, military, and general aviation aircraft as needed.
• Maintain appropriate security clearance status at all times.
