JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structures ?Sealant Mechanic
LOCATION: Kinston, NC
PAY RATE: $34.00/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier aerospace and defense company.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
- Perform assembly and installation work on aerospace structural parts and sub-assemblies
- Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and work instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, drills, sealers, and precision measuring instruments
- Perform drilling, sealing, countersinking, painting, varnishing, and fastener installation
- Complete quality inspections, continuity checks, and basic functional testing
- Support rework, repairs, and modification work as needed
- Move materials, tools, and parts within the manufacturing area
- Report production or tooling issues and document discrepancies
- Perform basic machine maintenance and support production workflow
- Assist and support team members when required
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with structural assembly and sub-assembly operations preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR regulations)
