Summary:
Plans aircraft structural modification tasks.
Lays out internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces.
Fabricates aircraft structural components and assemblies.
Assembles aircraft structures and surfaces for modification.
Installs aircraft structures and surfaces for modification.
Repairs internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces.
Works from technical manuals and engineering drawings.
Ensures compliance with FAA regulations.
Performs aircraft modification work on internal and external structures.
Supports aircraft structural surface repairs and installations.
Requirements:
Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
COVID-19 vaccination or approved accommodation required for access to government installations.
Prior training in FOD and Tool Control preferred.
Prior training in Non-powered Ground Support Equipment preferred.
Prior training in Egress Systems Familiarization preferred.
Prior training in HAZMAT Storage and Handling preferred.
Prior training in Aircraft records management preferred.
Ability to work 5/8s with 6/10s to 6/12 surge as required.
DoD per diem for Beale location available.
