The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Aircraft Quality Inspector (A&P Licensed) for a prominent client of ours. This position is in Jacksonville, FL. Details of the position are as follows: 

 

Job Details:

  • Pay: $36.38/hour
  • Schedule: Full-Time | 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
  • Duration: 1-year contract
  • Location: Jacksonville, FL (100% Onsite)

Position Overview:
The Aircraft Quality Inspector performs inspections to verify aircraft, components, and maintenance work meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. This role supports quality assurance through inspections, audits, documentation, and nonconformance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect aircraft, components, and completed work for compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform quality audits, surveillance, and product verification activities.
  • Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
  • Identify, document, and control nonconforming materials or workmanship.
  • Support corrective actions by identifying recurring quality issues.
  • Participate in customer product verification activities.
  • Complete required training and follow established quality procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (required)
  • Active Secret Security Clearance (required prior to start)
  • High School Diploma/GED plus 1+ year of aircraft maintenance, inspection, or related experience.
  • U.S. Person for export compliance.
  • Ability to work onsite in Jacksonville, FL.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and work in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting KC-46 or Boeing 767 aircraft programs.
  • Previous aircraft quality inspection or quality assurance experience.
