Summary:
Assembles, disassembles, and modifies aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul operations.
Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
Performs validation and verification testing of systems and components.
Documents procedures, repairs, test results, modifications, and inspections for contractual and regulatory compliance.
Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
Independently performs routine and complex functional or diagnostic tests using monitoring instruments and bench or automated test equipment.
Removes and replaces components for repair, replacement, or testing to support product serviceability.
Performs modifications to satisfy deliverable products and ensures adequacy, accuracy, and thoroughness of product modification.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Experience with V-22 aircraft maintenance and modification.
Knowledge of V-22 aircraft maintenance, modification, and repair in Electrical and Avionics or Airframes system subject areas.
Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and environment processes including FOD control, tool control, health and safety.
Ability to travel up to 30% domestically and to military bases CONUS plus Hawaii.
Preferred: FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
Preferred: Quality Assurance experience.
Preferred: Extensive Depot-level modification experience.
Ability to independently assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace components.
Ability to troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
