THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 INDEFINITE EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. Requirements
Help Conditions of employment NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED. This is an INDEFINITE excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing states National Guard required prior to the effective date of placement. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation. May be required to successfully complete a probationary period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Shift works is required.
Compatible Military Grades and Assignments
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is a Title 32 INDEFINITE excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing states National Guard. Military Grades E7 Selectees must be within the military grades listed in this job announcement prior to the effective date of placement into the technician position. Applicants Enlisted who are over grade must clearly state in their resumes their intentions to willingly take a reduction in grade. Compatible Military Assignments 2AXXX GENERAL EXPERIENCE Administrative or clerical experience Education or training which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-11- Must have 12 months of specialized experience to the next lower level or equivalent GS-09. Experience developing and recommending policy organizing and carrying out specific programs evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations. Experience in supervisory staff or technical work which included study analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies practices and procedures. Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations.
