Pay: Based on Experience
Schedule:1st Shift 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
2nd Shift 1:00 PM-9:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Job Type: Full-Time
- Flexible to work 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 1:00 PM-9:00 PM, and occasional weekend shifts
Aircraft Line Service Technician Must-Have Requirements
- Must be able to pass FAA and DOT drug testing
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to service general aviation and commercial aircraft
- Ability to operate an aircraft tug
- Ability to safely perform aircraft tugging and towing services
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to work various shifts
- Willingness to work occasional weekends
Aircraft Line Service Technician Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Aircraft Line Service Technician to support aircraft ground operations and provide fueling and line services for general aviation and commercial aircraft.
This position will work directly with aircraft, pilots, passengers, and FBO customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate aircraft ground support equipment.
Aircraft Line Service Technician Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Fuel and service general aviation and commercial aircraft
- Perform aircraft line service duties safely and efficiently
- Operate aircraft tugs and other ground support equipment
- Provide aircraft tugging and towing services
- Assist with aircraft arrivals and departures
- Assist FBO customers with their needs
- Provide professional customer service to pilots, passengers, and visitors
- Follow FAA, DOT, company, and safety procedures
- Perform routine equipment and safety checks
- Report equipment or operational issues to management
- Complete required paperwork and documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized ramp and work area
- Assist with additional FBO and line service duties as needed
Aircraft Line Service Technician Additional Qualifications
- Previous aircraft line service, aircraft fueling, FBO, airport, or aviation experience preferred
- Experience operating aircraft tugs or ground support equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Good verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Professional customer service skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 1:00 PM-9:00 PM, and occasional weekend shifts
