    Description

    DPP is seeking an Aircraft Inspector IV for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
     
    Work location: Onsite in Vandalia, Ohio
    Hours: M-F, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
    Duration: 12 months
    Terms: W2 contract
    Work authorization: Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance
     
    Position description:
    • As an Aircraft Inspector IV, you will lead inspection teams and oversee complex inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.
    • You will also develop inspection protocols and contribute to process improvements.

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead and oversee complex aircraft inspections.
    • Develop and implement inspection protocols.
    • Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of findings.
    • Address and resolve significant compliance issues.
    • Lead training and mentorship programs for junior inspectors.
    • Conduct periodic audits of maintenance processes.
    • Complete on-aircraft inspections to include avionics and structures.
    Required Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of relevant experience.
    • Advanced knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts.
    • Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of product audit and inspection processes and procedures.
    • Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
    • Thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness of aviation products after maintenance. 
    Education and Certifications:
    • Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
    US Citizen: This role requires the ability to obtain a US security clearance, which requires a thorough background search and US citizenship. Residency requirements may apply.
