As an Engine Wash Technician for Aero Jet Wash in Atlanta, you will perform on-wing jet engine washes at customer facilities as part of a two-person crew, working to manufacturer specifications and AJW's approved procedures. This is a part-time, evening role — technicians rotate on a three-person crew and should be available up to five evenings per week. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: - Perform on-wing aircraft engine washes in accordance with approved engine wash cards.
- Set up, secure, and operate engine wash equipment, ensuring the wash runs smoothly from start to finish.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as they arise.
- Complete all required paperwork and obtain customer sign-off at the conclusion of each job.
- Represent AJW professionally on the customer ramp through appropriate dress, conduct, and attitude.
- Coordinate with customer flight crews and ground personnel using hand signals, radio, phone, and verbal communication before, during, and after the wash.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- At least 18 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and basic computer skills.
- Valid driver's license, excellent driving record, and a Real ID.
- Insurable under Omni Aircraft Maintenance's auto insurance policy.
- Able to pass a background check, criminal history check, MVR review, and drug screen.
- Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Able to adapt to new technology and changing procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from the assigned company vehicle pickup point or airport.
Must be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation: - Bend, squat, and climb six-foot ladders.
- Stand or sit for up to four hours at a time. Each engine wash takes roughly thirty minutes per engine, with one to two aircraft typically scheduled per job.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions and in elevated noise environments.
- Lift up to 50 lbs., move up and down a ladder while carrying up to 15 lbs., and lift 15 lbs. overhead.
- Communicate clearly with AJW team members and customers.
