    Aircraft Electrical Engineer - PCB Design - 0401

    We have an immediate contract or direct opening for a Aircraft Electrical Engineer with our client in Los Angeles CA who is a leading provider of Aircraft Interior Modifications.

    Job Description

    Responsibilities include the design, development, qualification, and documentation of technical data packages, which are used for electrical systems modification programs involving commercial transport category aircraft. Additionally, provide engineering support for existing manufactured product through investigation, problem resolution, ECN/EO and drawing revision documentation.

    Relevant experience creating wiring diagrams, wire lists, schematics, routing and clipping installation drawings, and understands wire harness fabrication drawings, PLC and wireless. Proficiency in ASME Y14.100 practices and Y14.5 standards is a plus.

    PCB Experience Desired

    Experience with schematic capture and layout using Orcad schematics capture and Allegro layout tools.

    Create circuit symbol models using Cadence Orcad schematic capture tool.

    Create package footprints using Cadence Allegro according to vendor datasheets

    PCB layout using Allegro

    Familiar with high speed (>10 Gb/s) RF and mixed circuit layout

    Experienced with multiple layer (>10 layers) PCB layout, with complicated layer/via structures

    Familiar with PCB manufacturer processes

    Summary of Education, Experience

    • An Electrical Engineering Degree
    • A minimum of 5 years Experience in the Aerospace industry
