Summary:
Performs composite part manufacturing functions including lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, trimming, and repair in a production environment.
Manufactures composite aircraft parts to meet manufacturing specifications.
Reads work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations.
Checks all work and ensures a defect-free assembly prior to inspection.
Maintains and uses logs and records such as MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, and DR or DI.
Maintains neat and orderly work area supporting FOD and 5S programs.
Supports Lean activities.
Applies knowledge of composite resins and materials.
Reads and interprets blueprints and 6 inch scale.
Works in a team-oriented environment.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
High School Diploma or GED.
Basic computer skills.
One (1) year related composite experience.
Ability to work with composite resins and materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to read and interpret 6 inch scale.
Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.
Ability to work any shift.
