Air Quality Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Air Duct Cleaning Technician to join our team. The Air Duct Cleaning Technician is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining residential and commercial HVAC air duct systems to improve indoor air quality and system efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in various environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean air ducts, vents, registers, coils, and HVAC system components using specialized equipment.
• Operate vacuum systems, brushes, air compressors, and other cleaning tools safely and effectively.
• Identify and report issues such as mold, excessive debris buildup, damaged ductwork, or system deficiencies.
• Set up and break down equipment at job sites.
• Follow company procedures and industry standards for air duct cleaning services.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate with customers regarding services performed and answer basic questions.
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and reports accurately.
• Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly maintained.
• Follow all safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in air duct cleaning, HVAC, construction, restoration, or related field preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
