Responsibilities Mental Health Specialist (Degree) Diamond Grove Center Behavioral Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Central Area of Mississippi and surrounding counties for more than 30 years. As a key member of the Diamond Grove Center Team, you will be responsible for integration and coordination of patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for creating an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the organizations, mission, vision, and values: Demonstrates efficiency in maintaining support services, which are vital to unit operation Demonstrates expertise in performance of tasks necessary to maintain a therapeutic milieu and optimum patient care. Escorts patient to and from scheduled activities both in and outside to the hospital, off grounds in a safe and professional manner. Completes 12-minute checks, special observations and patient monitoring including 1:1, and close observation in an efficient manner.
