The Vision
John 21:15
So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
It is well known that lambs are young sheep. As expressed in the Scripture above, Peter, a founding apostle of the Christian Faith, was not only commissioned to preach the Gospel (Matthew 28:18-20) but “feed” the young of God’s flock.
To "feed" spiritually encompasses the full care of that individual. It goes beyond the natural supply of food. This type of feeding requires nurturing, loving, protecting, and teaching.
Jesus, The Great Shepherd, connects the expression of love for Him with the care of His lambs. The Lord has revealed this to us and graced us with the heart to care for His precious young flock OR lambs. Thus, the Little Lamb's vision is to impart God, educate, feed, and love on God’s little lambs.
The Mission
At Little Lambs, we aim to provide a nurturing and Christ-centered learning environment where young minds and hearts can flourish. Grounded in the love and excellence of Jesus Christ, we are dedicated to fostering each child's spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and social development.
Our facility seeks to:
Cultivate Faith: We strive to instill an enduring faith in God through Jesus Christ by incorporating Biblical principles, history, and values into our daily activities. Through prayer, teachings, and being an example, we aim to help children establish a strong foundation in their relationship with God.
Embrace Diversity: Little Lambs operates according to Kingdom Culture. We define Kingdom Culture as the customs, behaviors, values, principles, and beliefs of Christians set by the Kingdom of God, as expressed in the Word of God. In this, no believer is divided by race, nationality, language, denomination, or socioeconomic status. Everyone whom God has adopted as His child, through Jesus Christ, is engrafted into the heavenly family.
Partner with Families: We recognize that parents and families are the first teachers in a child's development. We are committed to building strong connections with families, providing open communication, support, and resources to encourage active involvement in their child's spiritual and educational journey.
Create a Safe and Secure Environment: The safety and well-being of our children are of utmost importance. We maintain a safe, secure, and loving environment where children can freely express themselves and grow confidently, knowing they are protected and loved.
In all that we do, we aim to produce well-rounded students who excel academically, socially, physically, and emotionally but, most importantly, have a rich and loving foundation in God through Jesus Christ.
