About Loop
Loop is industrializing services through AI, starting with one of the world's most complex industries: the global supply chain. We're an AI-native company built to solve the systemic data problem that's held logistics back for decades. Our Logistics Data Platform turns fragmented, unstructured data into a trusted foundation that fuels automation, financial clarity, and decision intelligence at scale. Today, Loop serves >20% of the Fortune 100, manages over $30B in supply chain spend, and helps its clients save hundreds of millions of dollars each year.
We recently closed a $95M Series C and are backed by leading investors including Valor Equity Partners, Founders Fund, 8VC, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan, and more than 50 industry-leading angel investors.
Our team brings deep expertise from Uber, Google, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, Flexport, C3 AI, VMware, Box, UPS, and C.H. Robinson and we're looking for builders who want to help shape what comes next.
About the Role
As an AI Tech Lead Manager you'll lead a small team of engineers while staying deeply hands-on in the code. You'll report directly to the Director of Engineering, owning both the technical direction of your team and the growth of the people on it.
This is not a role where you hand off the hard problems. We expect you to hold the same technical bar as our senior engineers - roughly half of your week will go into writing and reviewing production code. The other half goes into hiring, developing people, setting direction, and deciding what good looks like.
You'll start by leading a team of 3-5 engineers who own our agentic automation in carrier expansion, and you'll work with leadership over time to expand that scope.
This is an in-person role based in San Francisco, with the expectation of being in the office 4+ days per week.

Why you should join Loop?
From its very conception, AutoLoop was designed to enhance the connection between dealerships and their customers. Using innovative technologies, we set out to build a marketing/communication platform that could maximize retention rates and ultimately boost dealer profits.
It took years of development, practical applications and extensive field testing, but our unique concept of fully integrated programming has won us fans and accolades, and we have stood by our commitment to deliver a single-source advanced marketing platform.
Today, we serve over 2000 dealers, plus large groups and manufacturers with our staff of nearly 200 professionals focused on providing them great service. We analyze millions of data files every day, seeking newer and better ways to target customers and influence their automotive decisions.
