SYSTEMTEC is seeking a AI Solutions Architect for a remote opportunity for candidates in South Carolina. The Candidate will provide technical expertise in evaluating, designing, and implementing enterprise artificial intelligence solutions that support organizational objectives. This role partners with stakeholders to assess AI technologies, develop secure and scalable solutions, and promote responsible AI adoption through governance, proof-of-concept initiatives, and technical best practices.

Required Qualifications  of the AI Solutions Architect:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
  • Experience evaluating AI solutions by establishing proof-of-concept success criteria and measurable outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or comparable technologies.
  • Experience designing and implementing AI agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Experience defining AI performance metrics, KPIs, and production monitoring strategies.
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting for AI adoption, operational performance, cost, and risk.
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills with experience supporting complex technical initiatives.

Preferred Skills/Experience of the AI Solutions Architect:

  • Experience with multiple programming languages and modern software development practices.
  • Knowledge of artificial neural networks (ANNs), transformer models, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and time-series analysis.
  • Experience with data storage, retrieval, preparation, and data quality processes.
  • Understanding of AI governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI implementation principles.
  • Experience presenting technical concepts and developing technical documentation for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities of the AI Solutions Architect:

  • Support the evaluation, design, and implementation of secure, scalable AI solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Assess AI tools, platforms, vendors, and use cases to ensure compliance with governance, security, and operational standards.
  • Develop prototypes, proof-of-concepts, reusable technical patterns, and feasibility assessments for AI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify AI opportunities, evaluate risks, and recommend implementation strategies.
  • Contribute to enterprise AI standards, governance processes, and best practices that encourage responsible AI adoption.
  • Stay current on emerging AI technologies and provide technical guidance to support ongoing innovation.

Work Location: Fully remote with occasional onsite meetings as required. Candidates must reside in South Carolina throughout the engagement.
