JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a contract sales leader with deep experience in manufacturing or industrial technology to help drive early customer adoption of a new computer vision AI platform. This role is ideal for someone who understands plant operations and has existing relationships across quality, manufacturing, and operations teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leverage your network to open doors with manufacturing customers (especially automotive and industrial)
- Drive sales of paid pilots and initial deployments for edge-based and cloud products
- Translate real-world operational challenges into compelling AI use cases (inspection, defect detection, process optimization)
- Shape early go-to-market messaging based on customer feedback
- Build and manage a small pipeline from initial outreach through close
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 10+ years selling software into manufacturing, industrial, or automation environments
- Proven ability to close complex, solution-based deals
- Strong relationships with plant managers, manufacturing engineers, or quality leaders
- Comfortable operating independently in an early-stage, fast-moving environment
- Experience with AI, machine vision, or industrial software is a strong plus.
