Key Responsibilities:
- Define product vision, strategy, priorities, and roadmap for payment and card-related capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for applying AI, LLMs, AI agents, and emerging technologies to the payment journey.
- Help shape the future of agentic commerce, including how AI agents may support or initiate purchases and payments on behalf of customers.
- Translate ambiguous business opportunities into actionable product strategies and execution plans.
- Own product requirements, specifications, use cases, acceptance criteria, and roadmap development.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Architecture teams to define technical requirements and integration needs.
- Work on complex API, platform, payment, and ecosystem integrations.
- Bring a strong understanding of issuer-side card payments, digital payments, and payment processing.
- Incorporate fraud prevention, transaction security, disputes, servicing, compliance, risk, and data-governance requirements into product decisions.
- Collaborate with external partners including merchants, payment service providers, payment networks, and technology/AI partners.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Fraud, Risk, Legal, Compliance, UX, Design, and Business Development.
- Monitor emerging payment technologies, AI capabilities, protocols, and industry standards.
- Drive products through discovery, strategy, development, launch, measurement, and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 8–10 years of overall professional experience, with 5+ years of Product Management experience.
- Proven experience owning products through strategy, roadmap, requirements, execution, and launch.
- Strong experience with issuer-side payments, card payments, card issuing, or payment products.
- Experience in digital payments, payment processing, banking, financial services, cards, or fintech.
- Experience working with fraud, payment risk, transaction security, disputes, authentication, or related payment-risk functions.
- Strong product strategy and roadmap development experience.
- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed product and technical requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with engineers, architects, and other technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across both business and technical organizations.
- Experience operating in environments involving financial regulations, compliance, risk, and data governance.
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, Agentic AI, or Agentic Commerce.
- Experience developing or evaluating AI-enabled financial or payment products.
- Knowledge of digital wallets, payment networks, merchant ecosystems, and PSPs.
- Experience with API integrations and platform products.
- Understanding of payment authentication and transaction-risk controls.
- Experience working with emerging technology and converting new concepts into practical product roadmaps.
- Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, platform architecture, and solutions architecture.
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
