Job Description:

An AI Product Owner bridges business goals and technical execution, focusing on backlog prioritization, cross-functional team leadership, and ethical AI governance. They ensure artificial intelligence capabilities deliver clear user and business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Road mapping: Define the AI product vision, align features with business objectives, and maintain an actionable delivery timeline.
• Backlog Management: Prioritize AI use cases, write clear user stories, and establish acceptance criteria for machine learning models or automated workflows.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, security, and legal teams to manage dependencies and system integration.
• Ethics & Risk Mitigation: Monitor data quality, audit training datasets for bias, and ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR or the EU AI Act
• Performance Monitoring: Track post-launch model accuracy, system utility, and key performance indicators to drive continuous updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years in Agile product ownership, software delivery, or data/AI product management.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with machine learning concepts, LLMs, data pipelines (ETL), and AI architectural patterns like RAG.
• Agile Frameworks: Deep proficiency in Scrum or SAFe methodologies and familiarity with management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Core Competencies: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate ambiguous AI mechanics into concrete team tasks.
