Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to design, build, deploy, secure, and operate production-ready AI agents using AWS Strands Agents SDK and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS, Generative AI, RAG, vector databases, Python, JavaScript, Lambda, Glue, and CI/CD, with the ability to build scalable and secure AI platform components and production-ready agent solutions.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
6+ years of software, cloud, data, or platform engineering experience.
3+ years of experience designing AI/ML or Generative AI solutions on AWS.
Hands-on experience with AWS Strands Agents SDK and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
Strong architecture knowledge of RAG, Amazon Bedrock Knowledge Bases, chunking, embeddings, vector stores, semantic retrieval, metadata filtering, and evaluation.
Experience building ingestion and data-processing pipelines using AWS Lambda and AWS Glue.
Experience with embedding, indexing, reprocessing, synchronization, and data-quality validation.
Practical experience with HNSW, IVF, or comparable approximate nearest-neighbor indexing.
Strong experience with Python and JavaScript.
Experience integrating AI evaluation, regression testing, safety testing, and quality gates into CI/CD.
Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, testing, versioning, and prompt libraries.
Experience with AWS IAM, networking, encryption, secrets management, monitoring, and least-privilege security.
Strong production troubleshooting, debugging, and documentation skills.
