Akkodis is seeking an AI / ML Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, and MLOps, along with a proven ability to design and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions..
Rate Range: $62/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
AI / ML Engineer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions utilizing Generative AI, LLMs, Foundation Models, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
Build and implement Agentic AI and Multi-Agent Systems to support intelligent automation and business workflows.
Develop production-ready AI pipelines and machine learning solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
Fine-tune foundation models and large language models to improve business-specific performance and outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI components into enterprise applications and business processes.
Establish and maintain MLOps frameworks, deployment pipelines, monitoring capabilities, and model lifecycle management processes.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG architectures.
Experience designing and implementing Agentic AI and Multi-Agent Systems.
Strong background in MLOps and AI Platform Engineering.
Experience with:
Machine Learning
Deep Learning
Neural Networks
Foundation Models
LLM Fine-Tuning
AI Application Development
Expertise in Database Architecture supporting AI and data-intensive solutions.
Experience building production-ready AI applications, APIs, and intelligent automation platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Databricks, Lakehouse Architecture, and Cloud Data Engineering platforms.
Experience with Genesis AI platforms and AI ecosystem tools.
Full Stack Development experience supporting AI-powered applications.
Experience implementing AI solutions in regulated environments.
Life Sciences industry experience preferred.

Pay Details: $62.00 to $65.00 per hour
