Role: AI/ML Business Analyst (Healthcare) Location: Reston, VA (Remote) Job Type: Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in AI/ML-driven products and healthcare domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will work closely with data scientists, stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements, particularly for AI/ML-based solutions supporting healthcare operations and claims processing. Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements (functional & non-functional). Collaborate with data scientists and technical teams to support AI/ML model development and deployment. Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and functional specifications. Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including planning, execution, and defect tracking. Identify gaps in existing systems and recommend data-driven solutions. Support delivery of AI/ML, data, and analytics solutions in an Agile environment. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide ongoing support and guidance. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role. Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, including different types of models and how they work (MUST HAVE). Experience working on AI/ML-based products, preferably using AWS SageMaker. Exposure to Snowflake (data understanding is required as it is the primary data source). Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like Jira and Confluence. Strong written and verbal communication skills (MUST HAVE).
