Support governance of Generative AI and LLM-based applications , including risks associated with prompts, data, model outputs, and third-party AI solutions.

AI Governance Lead Healthcare / Life Sciences

Location: HYBRID (Houston, TX )

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI Governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
• Establish governance processes for AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI use cases.
• Evaluate AI solutions for privacy, security, bias, explainability, transparency, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
• Establish controls for AI model development, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing management.
• Support governance of Generative AI and LLM-based applications, including risks associated with prompts, data, model outputs, and third-party AI solutions.
• Develop and maintain AI inventories, risk assessments, governance documentation, and model documentation.
• Define processes for monitoring AI systems and identifying potential compliance, operational, ethical, and data risks.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure appropriate handling of protected health information (PHI), personally identifiable information (PII), and sensitive healthcare data.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in AI Governance, Data Governance, Model Risk, Technology Risk, Compliance, Responsible AI, or a related field.
• Strong Healthcare / Life Sciences / Pharma domain experience.
• Hands-on understanding of AI/ML and Generative AI governance.
• Strong knowledge of AI risk management, model governance, data privacy, security, and compliance.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Data Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Business teams.
