Job Summary

VisionX is HCLTechs Physical AI platform focused on delivering intelligent computer vision solutions for manufacturing, logistics, retail, smart spaces, and industrial automation. We are looking for a passionate Computer Vision Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable vision AI solutions leveraging deep learning, edge AI, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Computer Vision & AI Development

Design, develop, and optimize Computer Vision solutions for:

Object Detection

Image Classification

Semantic & Instance Segmentation

OCR & Document AI

Pose Estimation

Video Analytics

Anomaly Detection

Train, fine-tune, and evaluate deep learning models using large-scale image and video datasets.

Develop end-to-end AI pipelines from data collection, preprocessing, model training, inference, and deployment.

Model Optimization & Deployment

Optimize AI models using ONNX, TensorRT, OpenVINO, and CUDA for real-time inference.

Deploy models on NVIDIA GPUs, Jetson devices, edge servers, and cloud platforms.

Improve model accuracy, latency, throughput, and resource utilization.

Application Development

Build scalable APIs and microservices for AI inference using Python frameworks.

Integrate Computer Vision models with enterprise applications and IoT platforms.

Collaborate with Full Stack, DevOps, and Edge AI teams for production deployments.

Data Engineering

Work with image/video annotation and labeling tools.

Develop data augmentation pipelines and synthetic data generation techniques.

Manage training, validation, and testing datasets for enterprise-scale AI projects.

Skill Requirements

Technical Skills

Strong programming experience in Python

Hands-on expertise with:

OpenCV

PyTorch

TensorFlow

NumPy

Scikit-learn

Experience with:

CNNs

Vision Transformers (ViT)

YOLO

Faster R-CNN

Segment Anything Model (SAM)

OCR Frameworks

Understanding of image processing, video analytics, and deep learning fundamentals.

Deployment & MLOps

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of ML model serving and monitoring.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for AI solutions.

Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.

Edge AI (Preferred)

Experience with NVIDIA Jetson platforms.

Knowledge of CUDA, TensorRT, DeepStream SDK.

Exposure to real-time edge AI deployments.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Electronics, or related field.

6-8 years of software development experience with at least 4+ years in Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
