NTT DATA currently seeks an AI & Automation Consultant to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI & Automation Consulting Specialist to assess enterprise environments, identify automation opportunities, and recommend AI-powered solutions that improve operational efficiency, knowledge management, and business processes. This role will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to evaluate current systems, automation assets, and documentation, delivering actionable recommendations and strategic roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and document current operational processes and existing automation assets to improve discoverability, reuse, and accessibility across the organization.
  • Analyze and organize technical documentation, including environments where documentation may be fragmented, outdated, or incomplete.
  • Review source code repositories and recommend approaches for transforming code assets into searchable and reusable knowledge resources.
  • Evaluate existing operational and test automation capabilities and identify opportunities for optimization, expansion, and process improvement.
  • Assess AI-powered search, knowledge management, and automation technologies to determine business value and applicability.
  • Recommend practical solutions that align with organizational goals, technical requirements, and operational needs.
  • Evaluate emerging AI tools and platforms, including generative AI, enterprise search, and productivity solutions.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, technical discovery sessions, workshops, and Q&A meetings to gather requirements and understand current-state challenges.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify opportunities for automation, process modernization, and knowledge management improvements.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable technology recommendations.
  • Analyze enterprise environments consisting of databases, applications, APIs, and external system integrations.
  • Assess solution feasibility, implementation approaches, effort requirements, and high-level cost considerations.
  • Develop findings, strategic recommendations, and implementation roadmaps to improve knowledge discovery, automation effectiveness, and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of consulting, solution assessment, enterprise architecture, automation, or technology advisory experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with AI-powered enterprise search, knowledge management, information discovery, or related technologies.
  • 4+ years of experience working with enterprise applications, including frontend and backend systems.
  • 3+ years of experience assessing, designing, implementing, or supporting operational automation and/or test automation solutions.
  • Experience evaluating and recommending AI, automation, and productivity tools for enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude, Kilo, or other Generative AI platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise search technologies, semantic search solutions, or knowledge repository platforms.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and software engineering methodologies.
  • Experience with automation frameworks, intelligent automation, or AI-assisted development tools.
  • Knowledge of system integration architectures, APIs, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Azure, AI, Automation, or Enterprise Architecture certifications.
  • Prior consulting experience supporting technology assessments, automation strategy engagements, or digital transformation initiatives.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($75-$85). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.

This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
