Compensation:
Pay Range:$150,000-$160,000 Per Year

Description
Join a dynamic team in the Washington, DC area as a Full-Time AI and Data Engineer. 
This role involves transforming data architecture into production systems, focusing on data pipelines, retrieval systems, and AI-ready data products. 
The position requires hands-on expertise in data engineering and AI technologies, contributing to foundational data pipelines and establishing reusable engineering patterns. 
Successful candidates will leverage AI platforms, ensuring data quality and observability while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Build and operate AI-ready data pipelines for data retrieval by AI applications.
Implement retrieval-augmented generation components and vector store integrations.
Develop interfaces for agents and copilots to safely query enterprise data.
Design and maintain production-grade data pipelines using modern tools.
Contribute to semantic models and data product development for analytics.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, information systems, or related field.
6 years of relevant technical experience, including 1-2 years in AI/ML systems.
Hands-on experience with AI platforms and tools for data engineering.
Proficiency in Python and SQL with knowledge of distributed processing frameworks.
Experience with modern data stacks in cloud-based environments.
