TRC is hiring a AGV Robotics Technician - Athens, GA
$28.05 - $35.09 Per Hour
We are seeking an AGV Robot Technician to support automated material handling and robotic systems within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving AGV systems, robotics, ASRS technologies, and related automation equipment to support operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot AGV systems, robotic equipment, and automated material handling systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and basic programming issues
Support maintenance and operation of AGVs, cobots, and ASRS technologies
Perform equipment diagnostics and corrective maintenance
Work with engineering, logistics, and production teams to improve automation processes and system utilization
Evaluate AGV pathways and recommend efficiency improvements
Review CAD layouts, routing paths, and system configurations
Interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics
Coordinate with equipment vendors and suppliers on troubleshooting and system updates
Track KPIs related to AGV utilization and process improvements
Provide basic troubleshooting and operational training to team members
Required Qualifications
3 years of manufacturing, automation, robotics or industrial maintenance experience.
Experience troubleshooting automated equipment or Robotics systems.
Strong Electrical and mechanic troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Ability to sit and or stand for extended periods.
