Description

A well-established agronomy company is looking to hire a Location Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy agronomy center. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the agronomy facility, including fertilizer and chemicals
  • Lead, coach, and develop location employees while promoting a strong safety culture (8-10 people)
  • Coordinate product inventory, receiving, storage, and dispatch to meet customer needs
  • Schedule and oversee agronomy operations including blending, loading, application, and delivery
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships and provide outstanding service to growers
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, environmental regulations, and safety standards
  • Assist with budgeting, operational planning, and achieving location profitability goals
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and facility upkeep to maximize operational efficiency
  • Work closely with the sales team to support customer growth and seasonal business demands

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail agronomy, agribusiness, or agricultural operations
  • Leadership or management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of agronomy products including seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while leading a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours during seasonal peaks
