Your main focus is on operating application equipment and other machinery, making sure to always be safe while working. You closely follow your manager's directions to ensure total accuracy. When you're not operating machinery, you're either performing basic equipment maintenance or general labor in the fields.YOUR HOURSYou normally work Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Extended hours and weekends may be required during the peak season.REQUIREMENTSExcellent hand-eye coordination with the ability to operate equipmentAbility to follow labels when blending fertilizer and crop protection productsAbility to read maps, follow directions, and maneuver equipment with computer-assisted operationsPhysical ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects and completing routine machinery maintenanceEagerness to learn more and grow within the tradeValid driver's license and a good driving recordA custom applicator's license or CDL would be preferred but isn't required.
