In the role of Scrum Master within the Investment Solutions Technology group, the Scrum Master will facilitate the process to ensure the squads deliver outcomes.
The Scrum Master role entails:
Acting as a change agent, with a passion for collaborating, to support our teams and deliver exceptional output.
Working directly in a squad to drive performance using Agile values, practices and processes.
Acting as a coach, encouraging our teams to strive for continuous improvement.
Partnering with the Product Owner to support the work of the squad by maintaining the backlog and facilitating ceremonies, like stand ups, sprint planning and retrospectives. Monitoring team performance through the metric dashboards and identifying continuous improvement opportunities to support the team to work smarter and more effectively. Working with the organizational resources outside the squad to help them interact effectively with the squad and remove impediments.
Guiding the agile squad and Product Owner on Agile process such as writing stories and backlog grooming.
Fostering a collaborative culture.
Managing blockers, obstacles and dependencies and escalating as needed.
Aligning releases within Morgan Stanley's required systems, including managing appropriate artifacts.
Fostering trust, commitment, accountability, and conflict resolution to achieve results.
Scrum Master Certification
Scrum Master experience level of 8+ years working on agile projects
Understanding of JIRA tool use and creation of dashboards through JIRA
Microsoft Project Suite of applications
