Description:

Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities include writing Java Spring Boot microservice applications using AWS native technologies, using Python to optimize AWS services, building REST services with Spring, implementing CI/CD with Maven, GitLab, and GitOps, and working in an agile team.

• Writing Java Spring Boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders

Position Required Skills:

• Writing Java Spring Boot based microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2, and S3
• Building REST services with Spring to filter and select complex data objects
• Implement CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, GitLab, and GitOps
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communication and collaboration

Position Desired Skills:

• Java, Spring Boot or Python
• JSON Schema
• Microservice architectures
• CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, GitLab & GitOps; Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible
• Database: NoSQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB Query and Schema Design
• OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
• Test frameworks and automation to include Cyprus and Cucumber

AD3 Qualifications:

9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

An Associate’s degree plus 11 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 13 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.

Able to support an on-call rotation

Salary Range:$201k-$245k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
