Agentic AI Engineer

Implement workflow orchestration, asynchronous processing, streaming, and event-driven architectures. Develop autonomous workflows leveraging LLMs, planning, tool usage, memory, and evaluation.

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for an Agentic AI Engineer for their Phoenix, AZ/ New York, NY location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Build and own large-scale distributed and agentic AI systems.
• Develop autonomous workflows leveraging LLMs, planning, tool usage, memory, and evaluation.
• Design backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native solutions.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, reliable AI-powered products.
• Implement workflow orchestration, asynchronous processing, streaming, and event-driven architectures.

 
Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong experience with LLM systems, agentic workflows, or advanced ML infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and/or Go.
• Experience with REST, gRPC, AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, Airflow, or similar.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and drive technical direction.
• Preferred Skills
• AI-assisted development workflows.
• Event-driven architectures and streaming platforms.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
