Ag Senior Loan Officer

Our client, a respected agricultural lender, is seeking an Ag Senior Loan Officer in the Amarillo, TX area to build and manage a portfolio of high-value agricultural and commercial customer relationships. Our client, a respected agricultural lender, is seeking an Ag Senior Loan Officer in the Amarillo, TX area to build and manage a portfolio of high-value agricultural and commercial customer relationships.

 

Responsibilities:

- Manage a portfolio of about 30-40 customer relationships, many with balances over $1 million

- Attract, retain, and manage strategic, complex relationships and serve as the primary relationship manager

- Drive annual renewals, including pricing, term negotiations, and documentation

- Partner with Credit and Operations for smooth renewals and excellent service

- Monitor portfolio performance and risk indicators, and collect financial statements and required documents

- Keep CRM records, pipeline, and forecasts current, and share updates in regional meetings

 

Qualifications:

- Strong agriculture background with business development experience (required)

- 3-5+ years of credit and underwriting experience

- Experience with loan documentation

- Leadership experience a plus

- Self-motivated, driven, and an excellent communicator
