Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy at Pelham Medical Center has an immediate PreschoolTeacher opening! Kids 'R' Kids is a locally owned and operated licensed preschool. We are a preschool of academic excellence, not a daycare. We utilize a standards-driven, year-round curriculum designed and updated quarterly by professional child care educators exclusively for Kids 'R' Kids. Academic objectives are cross-referenced to reflect National and South Carolina standards.
The Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.

- Must follow DSS regulations and maintain DSS regulated ratios at all times.
- Challenging their thinking and nourishing their minds
- Constantly interacting with students
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required, Education in ECE preferred, Associates or Bachelor degrees are welcome to apply.
- Must pass a SCDSS Central Registry as well as background all other requirements of SCDSS
- Must have 1 year work experience in a Licensed Childcare Facility.
