After School Instructor

The mission of Livius Prep is to empower every student to achieve their own academic success. To accomplish this, we want people who are willing to invest in their students and themselves. Our instructors are creative, innovative, unique, and most importantly can build genuine relationships with our students.  

We are hiring responsible, knowledgeable classroom instructors who want to jump in with both feet to help us connect with students and be a part of one of our most prestigious school partnership programs offered. This position is for in-person after school instructors to work with English learners within the Brookline School District. The program will offer enrichment in art, engineering, literacy, math and include fun activities for all students. There will be time to assist students with homework and to offer additional academic support where needed. The students are energetic and excited to learn, therefore, we are seeking individuals who share their love for learning.  

What we ask of you: 

• Ability to share your passion and inspire students to reach their full potential 

• Are creative, professional, and serious about providing purposeful academic opportunities for all 

• Maintain an accurate calendar and be available in Brookline during afterschool hours throughout the week 

• Provide timely and detailed notes after each session for time tracking purposes

• Engage with the team, and communicate openly and regularly with those who support you 

Are you the right fit? 

• You are computer literate 

• You are reliable and punctual and live within a reasonable commute of Brookine, MA

• You know how to connect with students 

• You want to be a part of an exciting company as it grows 

• You have completed at least four years of college 

• You are preferably a certified teacher 

• You are eligible to work in the U.S. and can successfully complete a federal I-9 form and a national background check
