Description
Join a welcoming team, make a difference in your community, and build valuable experience in education, childcare, recreation, teamwork, and leadership!
The Andover Recreation Division's Kid Care Program provides a safe, fun, and engaging after-school experience for children in Kindergarten through Grade 5 through games, activities, homework support, outdoor play, and enrichment opportunities. Assistant Group Leaders supervise and engage children, promote positive behavior, support daily activities, and help create a welcoming environment where every child can learn, grow, and have fun.
The program operates at all five Andover elementary schools. We'll do our best to place staff at a preferred location, based on program needs and availability. This is an ideal opportunity for students and others interested in education, sports and recreation, childcare, or community-based work who want to build their communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
