The VISTA will develop environmental education and sustainability resources for expanded mentorship programming in Norwayne Local School District based upon OHuddle's 1:1 Developmental Asset based model with goals of increasing community involvement in the school, improving education around prevention programming, and improving student academic and behavioral outcomes. The VISTA will assess and develop tools for volunteer/ mentor recruitment system to ensure a best match with students referred by each school partner to alleviate barriers of trauma and poverty.
