BG Staffing is seeking an Affordable Assistant Property Manager to oversee daily operations at a property in Shallotte, NC 28470. This is a contract opportunity with immediate start for the right candidate.
Position Details
- Role: Affordable Assistant Property Manager
- Location: Shallotte, NC 28470
- Pay: $20/hr.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
- Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day operations of an affordable housing property
- Support compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and other affordable housing regulations
- Help manage leasing activities, including applications, move-ins, and recertifications
- Maintain accurate and organized resident files and documentation
- Assist with rent collections and follow-ups on delinquencies
- Respond to resident inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders
- Support property manager with reporting and administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Previous property management or leasing experience required
- Affordable housing experience (HUD/Section 8/LIHTC) preferred
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with property management software is a plus
