    Are you ready to take on a key role in the aerospace and defense industry? We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven professional to join our team as a Lead Project Engineer (Responsible Engineer Authority). In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with advanced propulsion systems, support high-impact defense programs, and ensure smooth production operations through technical leadership and process optimization.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and execute engineering projects supporting production programs.
    • Assess and resolve non-conformances in real time to maintain production flow.
    • Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans.
    • Optimize processes to reduce waste, improve yield, and enhance efficiency.
    • Manage technical documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, manufacturing, and product management.
    • Provide engineering authority for material review and technical dispositions.
    • Train and support team members with technical expertise.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering (required) or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 9 years of relevant project engineering experience (or 7 years with a Masters, or 13 years without a degree).
    • Strong knowledge of design, manufacturing, and testing processes.
    • Proficiency in CAD, GD&T, analysis, or materials (required).
    • Previous experience with root cause investigations and non-conformance resolution.
    • Familiarity with DFMEA/PFMEA, process optimization, and systems engineering principles.
    • Six Sigma Certification (preferred).
